About Our Cleaning Methods
Badger Carpet Care now offers two cleaning methods to choose from:
Method 1 is Hot Water Extraction using moisture control technology. Our equipment recovers 50% more solution than traditional hot water extraction equipment. This method is often preferred when cleaning carpets that are heavily soiled, pet-damaged, or contain a large number of spots and stains. Carpet manufacturers may specify hot water extraction in their warranties. Average drying time for this method is four to eight hours.
Method 2 is an environmentally friendly process called Oscillating Pad Extraction. This is a low moisture, green method of carpet cleaning which results in a faster drying time – on average, one to two hours. Our specially designed machine features a 1725 rpm random orbit with highly absorbent microfiber and cotton pads to scrub the tops and all sides of the carpet fibers. The force of the high speed agitation literally strips soil from the fiber. The fiber is then coated with encapsulant which keeps the sticky soil from reattaching to the fiber. Reappearing or wick-up spots are minimized. This process keeps carpets cleaner longer!
